Most of RIVER MEADOWS RANCH is but a short spin from Snowflake and Show Low, both inviting country towns with an ample assortment of shopping, service, recreation, medical and church facilities. A bit eastward, the small community of Concho beckons, with a fine trout lake and public golf course.
WEATHER
The Mogollon Rim and the White Mountains, west and south of the ranch respectively, form an almost continuous barrier protecting the land from severe winters and creating a mild four season climate.
WATER
Domestic and irrigation water is via private wells – you drill your own. Depths to water are economical. As a RIVER MEADOWS RANCH property owner you have access to the Coconino Aquifer, the largest groundwater supply in Northern Arizona. Economical windmill-driven pumping is quite practical and common. (Caution: as you look into land – from us, from anyone – be sure to determine the availability of underground water and the depth, hence the economy and practicality of drilling a well, to that water. Many otherwise attractive properties fail badly on this score, underground water being of questionable quantity for domestic use.
